Retake of Schrader 1270; 7/3/98. An 8-inch nail was found driven into the ground at the site where this photo and the retake of Schrader 1271 were taken. It is not known, but is possible based on the condition of the nail, that this nail was placed by Schrader. In this view, Juniper trees appear to have grown unmolested for the last 93 years, but do not seem to have spread in the area.
