Insights Into Changes Over the Past Century - Interviews with Elders

Project collaborators have completed consultations with elderly Navajos from the Tsezhin Bii' area using a checklist of questions. The questions center on changes the interviewee has noticed during his/her life in weather, springs and wells, farming, vegetation for livestock and medicine, with emphasis on changes in his/her own land-use patterns. More than twenty elders and traditionalists, 60 to 90 years old, have been interviewed.
