USGS/NOAA North American Packrat Midden Database (version 3)

Data Submission

To submit data to this Database, please email data in a spreadsheet format to Laura Strickland at lstrickland@usgs.gov. For each midden sample please provide if available:

location information (latitude/longitude coordinates; county and state)
elevation
age information (C14 date, standard deviation and material dated)
plant taxa list, including:

botanical names
relative abundance
material identified (seed, leaf, twig, etc.)
description of the type counting scheme used to represent relative abundance
